These blades are coated with a TICN (Titanium Carbon Nitride) finish to help
improve blade life. Thin wall tubing, stainless steel applications, higher
RPM and higher feed saws, very difficult to cut alloys or high strength
materials are all typical uses of these blades. The coating is used to help
reduce the wear resistance when higher heats are generated. The coating in
addition to a flood or mist coolant is always recommended. (63/65 HRc)
